On December 30th 2009 , we had an Orange Party for Xmas and New Year at the bank,everyone wearing orange colour clothes, on that day also we had gift exchanged among the staff.All the staff need to buy any gift as long as its not food and the price must be above RM20.00, its like a lucky draw , no one know what will they get from others.I got number 13 and its a toaster :-) im happy.

I went to see a Natrah at the Istana Budaya , based on the true story that happened in 1950's, who is Natrah?

Maria Hertogh or Natrah Maarof was born on March 24, 1937, in Tjimahi in Java, the Dutch East Indies.Her father Adrianus Hertogh was a sergeant in the Dutch Army.During World War II, she was left by her Eurasian mother Adeline Hunter in the care of a family friend — Aminah Mohamad — who lived in Bandung.Sergeant Hertogh was captured by the Japanese Army and sent to a POW holding facility in Japan, where he was interred until 1945.Aminah claimed that Adeline had given Maria to her for adoption.Shortly after the war, Aminah took Maria home to Kemaman, Terengganu, and Maria’s parents requested the Dutch authorities in Java to trace her. They found Aminah and Maria in 1949, but Aminah refused to give Maria up.Maria married Mansor Adabi in 1950, and it was during this time that the Hertoghs and Aminah were involved in a custody battle over Maria in the Singapore High Court.The court granted custody of Maria to her parents, and consequently, riots broke out in Singapore. The riots originated with a peaceful demonstration in support of Maria and Aminah, organised by Pas founder Dr Burhanuddin Helmi.Singapore police nabbed 778 people in the riots which claimed 18 lives. Wow, can u imagine if all of us shouting that words?? BERGEMAAAA hahaha .

Last Saturday Feb 16th , I went for a one bowling tournament Kelab Sukan Maybank Selangor yang anjurkan , we had this tournament every year and this year was the best hahaha becoz my team won the 3rd place.

At first i feel like i dont want to take part in this tournament eventhough they already submitted my name , one day before the tournament told a friend of mine that i want to tarik diri and he said OK , a guy from another branch replace me and some of my friends wanted me to come to the tournament to give them a support , mmmmm was thinking takan nak jadi pom pom girl kot naaaaa dont think so and i said OK i will come.

Kepong branch sent 2 teams Kepong 1 and Kepong 2 (what a team name-hahah) well others macam2 nama "Ayoh pin" , "geng bas sekolah", highlander ,nama2 bukan main lagi , kelassss but we sticked to Kepong since a few years back using the same team name , guess we're proud of it .

Bila tiba masa nak main (ours 2nd block) 1st block almost finish and the guy who supposed to replace me belum datang lagi , tak ada keta katanya , pulakkkkkk , nasib baik I ada situ ..so mula2 naik main , tak jadi main then finally kena main jugak ....I said Ok lah...

Lucky that i played if not we not going to be at the 3rd place , and for men individual im in 13th place , not bad huh for a charming guy like me muhahahaha ....yang team lain yang datang bergaya hilang tah kemana lepas habis main ..

So guys what i can say here im proud to be with the team Kepong 1 (thats my team) ...YES Kepong memang BOLEH!!!!!

CNY in Singapore

Well guys im back again after 35 years hahahaha well my last update was during my 35th birthday lol, anyway during this year CNY (year of RAT - my year again heheheh) me and friends went down to Singapore , well it was a last minutes planning either to go to Penang or Singapore , but at last our destination Singapore.A week before CNY , we already prepared a few things, i sent my sayang for a car wash, Yuppies78 preparing the itinenary, Sal with the hotel bookings and Nini for the idea to Singapore hahaha u go GIRLS!!

We drove all the way from KL to JB to Mutiara on the first day of CNY at noon, the hotel we stayed for 3D2N, decided to stay in JB bcoz we guess that maybe the hotel in Singapore fully booked but im happy that we stay in JB the room is so big *nice*.After we checked in and rest for a while we drove again , this time to Singapore , left the hotel around 7.30pm.

We dont have any problem with the Imigration , ohhh well we are the good guys here hahahah....as soon as we left the Imigration .....Singapore here we come .....came back later in the morning around 3 am ....letih sesangat biasalah sesat kat sana dah satu hal anyway guys it was fun , i will not forget guys.

The next day after breakfast we planned again to enter Singapore (remember what Jon said "Love man with a plan" hehehehe ...left JB around 10.30am and this time i drove all the way to Singapore and Yuppies78 is my navigator , well he's the only ONE who good at ready map , SALUT! to u dear ....the 2 girls that follow us well they both our back up singers hahahaha girls no heart feelings ....u girls are magnifique!! oui.

We had a good time in Singapore , well we went to so many places directly and accidently hahahaha , well Singapore is so small what do u expect!!So much fun in the car we're singing and we're cursing hahaha talking about cursing well im good at it muhahahaha ...BIARCHHHHH!!see i told u im good at it .

Thanks guys for the good times , i will never forget about it , whats our next plan? any idea guys .....

I had a great time during my 35th birthday , seems like i just celebrated my 34th birthday yesterday :-( well im 1 year older from last year haha.If the theme for last year was BLUE colour of the sky , this year is BROWN the earth colour , so all the staff at the bank wearing brown except my BOSS hmmmm the guy that have the same birth date as me also wearing brown, so we celebrated our birthday together.I got a lot of birthday gifts , yuppie78 was there too but he came late , this time he didnt sing the birthday song for me he said he already sang it 2 weeks ago hahaha , he's so funny , he gave me 2 nice ties i love them :-)) , Nini was there too but Sal cant make it , well she preferred to be with the Taiwanese singer that came to KL for charity show ..bummer...

I got magnetic bracelet from Kamarol the guy that celebrated birthday with me and i gave him a nice brown shoes.I really had a great time , played a techno birthday song from Dj BoBo again and again and after that dangdut hahaha .Sid i wish u were here .....

After that yuppie78 , Nini and I went for karaoke till 4 am heheheh , we had a great time singing and singing and singing , we went to RedBox a nice karaoke place in KL

I'm so happy that we went to see the concert and its LIVE on stage , can u believe it??? I watched the American Idol on local tv back home and now they in Gwyneth County about 45 mins to 1 hour by car from Sid's place.Sid already planned everything , he bought the tickets online and we got a good seats not far from the stage.That night was so great , we saw all the idols except Kelly , she was there but she was not feeling well that night. Everybody was great, I like the song that Chris and Elliot sang duet and so happy to know they sang "savin' me" from the group Nikelback( I already bought the CD , yipieeee) but my real idol was fantastic ,who else ....Taylor , I took pictures and some video clips of his performance.Thanks Sid, that night was so woonderful.

After the Aquarium , we went to CNN Center to meet Sid's best friend Mark,He is one of the CNN World Sport anchor , first time I saw Mark on tv in Munich during the World Cup.He was in Berlin that time, I quickly took his pic from the tv with my cellphone and email the pic to Sid in Atlanta and he said YES! thats my Mark.I'm so excited to go to the CNN Center,all the time I watched the CNN news from our local TV back in KL.Thanks Mark for the "behind the scenes" tour u gave to me and Sid.I also would like to thank him for all the CNN souvenirs.

Sid told me that we will be very busy on Sunday ,coz we will go to the Aquarium and after that to visit Mark at the CNN Center, he knew that i'm still tired from cooking on Saturday but i said i'm fine and i'm so excited to go to the Aquarium.I took pics like crazy, the Georgia Aquarium is so huge and Sid told me it is the largest Aquarium in the world.

The security is very tight just like when u at the airport, Sid bought the ticket from the internet , lucky us , if not we have to Q in the line for hours....i guess.All we need to do is print out from the internet the tickets and they just scan the barcode......mmmm very interesting.

I finished cooking at 7.20pm ...phewwww!!!!!!! at last , Sid said u need to take your shower and get ready , your guest will be here in any minute.I'm nervous to meet them again eventhough i already met them all on the first day i was here , what if they didnt like my cooking??all that keep playing in my mind while i'm taking my shower.

I told Sid that i will cook for his friends when i first arrived in Atlanta, a week before the dinner i was so nervous.Sid said to me "relax" everything will be OK .So during that day(saturday) , we got up early in the morning and went to the "halal" store in Buford Highway to buy beef and chicken, stop over at the Atlanta Farmer's Market and one Vietnamese store to buy some asian groceries, we bought a lot of things ...oh well of course we will cook for 9 peoples .Started cooking at noon , i cooked the pengat pisang (banana porridge) and lycee jello first.Sid helping me a lot , i was smiling when i saw him cleaning the shrimps which he never done it before in his life (i guess).....

Saw the restaurant when we went to Starbuck and Sid said we will go to that place one day and we did .....:-) A nice restaurant owned by a malaysian chinese from Petaling Jaya, I met another malaysian from Johor Baru , she's a waitress and she's so nice to us , i had Salmon Lava (spicy curry.....hmmmm yummy ) and Sid had Putri Basket ( chicken in a crispy basket).We will go there again before i go back home....

I'm so happy when Sid told me that i will be his guest to the Governor's mansion for "Georgia's 2006 High Performance Principals", so he put my name as Hariss Hassan,i asked him what i should wear since i saw from the invitation card "business attire".Dia boleh le pakai kot dan tie and semua yang datang pakai kot dengan tie and me i'm wearing filipino's shirt and khakis pants(beli kat Target) hehehehe ...i'm nervous but he said "relax" no one will notice and i guess he's right , i'm the only malay and asian that night and proud to introduce myself from Malaysia , it was great ...maybe who knows next i will be in the White House....i'm proud of u Sid ....congrats!!!

We went to MO MO YA (lucky not moo moo ya ...hee hee) a nice japanese sushi steak house for lunch , i had tempura and salmon with teriyaki sauce and Sid had tempura and yakitori (chicken kebab), yummy ....I met a nice Indonesian from Bali , he's a waiter there and i'm so happy that i could practise my malay with him hee hee.....Sid had no clue what we were talking about ....hee hee ......sorry.

I feel like home when i arrived at Sidney's house, saw the flag hanging and welcome balloon....beautiful house and nice friendly neighbourhood. From his house i can see the city, we walked to the morning market on Saturday.Crossing a big park , nice weather that time , not too hot like in KL...i love this place.At night, i saw my first fireworks in Atlanta .......so beautiful , the pic might be blury coz i took with my N70.

I cant believe im in Atlanta now when i'm writing u this message ,the long way from KL really worth it , 2 hours in Seoul waiting for my next flight to Atlanta really makes me happy when i called Sidney and telling him that i'm half way to Atlanta.I'm glad that i choose muslim food as my meal on plane.As i landed at Hartsfield Jackson Int .airport had to go to the imigration and took me awhile. Finally Sidney found me and took my pic while i was waiting for my luggages, i realised the long 25 hours flight was worth taking as saw his smiling face.

Atlanta is a beautiful Olympic city , the airport is so big......i'm glad they didnt check my luggages , hee hee my serunding (dried beef from KL) is safe hmmmmmm.

Markus took me to Nuremburg, about more than 130km from Donaustauf, on the way there i can see BAVARIAN forest , very beautiful .....all green and nice to see.We were in Nuremberg when England vs Trinidad & Tobago.I met Stewert an english guy who knows about MAYBANK coz he's working with Chase Manhattan Bank in London, English fans are crazy ,ugrhhh they really mad anywhere they go......

Take a look at this cute MOO MOO!! I bought them separately for my MM, me and yuppies78 went to the mall last saturday to buy some groceries for our spaghetti and i saw another moo moo's product -Ice Cream yummy!!!! I know my MM is smiling right now...:-D.
Still searching for billy goat for my moo moo.Lets sing guys ....."OH Mcdonald have a farm eya eya yoo and in his farm he have a cow eya eya yoo, moo moo here and moo moo there......."im not really good in singing it , maybe Sidney can help me hee hee. H L S

I cant believe when i came back from Munich on June 26th and on the next day while chatting with Dr.SB, he asked me if i want to come to Atlanta , at first i was afraid to take another long off day from work but after i discussed with my BOSS and told him a few reasons why i need to take another long off day from work, he agreed to let me go,(July 21st till Aug 8th) yippieeeeee!!! mooooo hee hee.

Including this trip, will be my 3rd times to United States , last time to New Orleans, Louisiana (2001) and Hannibal, Missouri(2004), I never been to Atlanta and i know it will be great , thanks Sidney.

So, i did checked everything about Atlanta on the net , i did my homework before travel to all those places.Well first thing is the map of the airport, so that i wont get lost there hee hee....happened to me before in 2001 at LAX ,the airport is too big and i was running here and there looking for my next flight to NOLA.....phewww!!!.Sidney told me the airport in Atlanta (Hartsfield Jackson Int.)will be easy ...i trust him ...

I was in Germany from June 9th till June 26th, I went to visit my 2 great friends (Jeanette and Markus) whom i met in Istana Hotel by accident ,February 2005, i cant believe since that time we became very close and u guys invited me to your place, danke!.Donaustauf is a beautiful small town near to a big town, Regensburg that also very beautiful.Remember guys!! when i was at your house i was crying becoz i saw Malaysian flag hanging there...U made me feel like home :-)
